The triple intervention we propose consists in:
1_Kite wind generators localized into the empty spaces of highway junctions:
they are light and dynamic machines that generate clean energy using high altitude wind, a renewable source, with a minimal impact on soil and technical characteristics that make this plant suitable for every territory with lower cost than other ones.
An integrated guardrail system composed by vegetation combined with CIGS solar panels.
2_The vegetation chosen will help to clean the air due to its quality of absorbing high quantity of PM10. The solar panel we chose are characterized by their thickness, versatility and strength, and the excellent behavior with diffuse and low light thank to CIGS solar cell technology.
3_ A vegetative boundary accompanying the highways all along, capable of being at the same time an acoustic and visual barrier and an air filter, that will transform the pollutant grey infrastructure into a green sustainable boulevard.
