The Green Walk
The archway, that faces south, is made up of structural photovoltaic layered glasses that spread on a surface of
3.000 m2. An installation of 420 kWp gives about 315.000 kWh/year of green energy. The five eolic blades, with
a pile 20 meters high and 16 wide, are realized with a carbon fiber material and produce constantly energy, even
with a low value of wind, about 2 m/s. They have efficiency, limitated acustic and ambiental impact, estethic
values and generate a power of 55 kW each. The two idro-electric mini-whirls have a 20 kW power each and
take advantage of the flow generated by the Picentino river. In conclusion, we think the project can stimulate
the social aggregation throughout the promotion of cultural events, such as expos and many other types of
showreels; moreover the project will give enormous economical benefits that can be referred to minor
management and production costs for local industries.
