Daddy says since the Way is there, everything has changed. In fact the Way is like a magical engine: you put trash in it and electricity comes out, used paper turns clean and banana peel becomes compost.
Now Daddy got a new job in the recycling plant, and the old Gianni came back with his tiramisu. Now he got a bigger restaurant and tourists eat there. They come to visit the Way, maybe heading to the seaside. Gianni says one day his restaurant will be mentioned on tour guides. Chocolate factories will come from the North to buy our recycled wrappings, says Gianni.
Also the old Dump closed down, and now the trash is accumulated and transformed all along the Way, which is made of recycled concrete and bricks. The farmers get compost directly from the Way and transport fruits and vegetables in electric vans recharging on the Way.
Now it’s August again and before the school begins, we are also travelling to the seaside. Together with the tourists from Sofia and Berlin, says Daddy.
