The system called "Energy in Movement" get energy by two units of production through the principle of piezoelectricity:
1. artificial hedges
2. smart plates.
The first device, made from recycled plastic stems, generate energy through the movement of air caused by the passage of vehicles in circulation or wind. Used as a divider, they become noise barriers close to residential areas. The acoustic shielding exploit the principle of absorption resonance cavity (Helmholtz resonance) and are made of recycled wood.
The second device works through the passage of the vehicle on the plate which will absorb the kinetic energy transforming it into electrical energy.
To reduce the environmental impact of electric vehicles in transit, the asphalt will be treated with a special paint that absorbs smog fine particulate matter released from motor vehicles.
